Born and bred an America's Dairyland, Paul Edlund's life got all shook up watching East Saint Mary's Peak looming over the Flathead Valley in Western Montana. Since then, he's lived in Bozeman, MT where he explores the connection between people and the place we call home. You can find him at the Office of Sustainability at Montana State University.
In Dec 2021, MSU created a framework that makes a vision for carbon neutrality and other sustainability goals! Since then, our office has collaborated with campus experts to design Montana's most energy-efficient buildings, reduce waste leaving campus, and inspire our campus community. Every year is another turn to meet with the next group of sustainability-superstar-students. Though carbon neutrality may be years down the road for us, our hope is that every Montana student feels ready for the future they inherit and prepared to contribute to the community they call home.
