Brand partnerships

As a registered 501c(3) nonprofit organization, Footprints actively pursues grants and corporate contributions to help fund our educational programs. Every contribution is tax deductible under the U.S. tax code.

We’re a small, nimble team that punches above our weight. We look to partner with organizations aligned with our ethos, and these partnerships can take many different forms. The scale of collaboration in our corporate partnerships varies based on the depth of support and limits of our creativity. Partnerships can look like working together to share co-branded stories with the growing Footprints community, presentations to your employees, marketing opportunities, or other opportunities, such as:

  • Recognition on our website and Annual Report

  • Co-branded storytelling across Footprints’ channels (e.g. social media, newsletter, podcast)

  • Custom presentation for company employees discussing the impact of your support, offered virtually or in-person depending on location

  • Opportunities for meaningful engagement with our program participants

  • Photo and video assets for promotional use

From its inception in 2007 by snowboarder Jeremy Jones, POW has grown into a global leader in climate action. It was originally focused primarily on winter sports, but POW now encompasses outdoor sports for all seasons and all people. Their goal is simple, yet challenging: mobilize the Outdoor State — a community of 50 million or more people in the US alone — to empower comprehensive legislative action fighting climate change and adapting to it in ways that are equitable, profitable, and attainable. We are proud to work closely with POW to develop programs that have a lasting impact for the climate and the communities we all call home.

Näak was born in Canada with one mission: build the most efficient and sustainable fuel for endurance sports. It's all based on one radical idea: long-lasting energy powered by high quality and sustainable ingredients. Performance and sustainability.

Suffer Better is a CO-based 501c3 nonprofit that offers events, programs and grants to the growing community of endurance athletes to engage and enable them to give back to preserve and protect their natural environment and support local communities. We love working with Peter and the rest of the team at SB on joint fundraising events, community film nights, and more.

Patagonia has led the way for sustainability in the outdoors industry for close to fifty years now. They have an invaluably positive impact on our world, and we are honored to work with them. They outfit our campers and mentors with the right gear during camp, several of our mentors are Patagonia ambassadors, and we’re lucky to learn from their deep experience in grassroots activism.

The Kilian Jornet Foundation works with scientists, athletes, brands, and events to both monitor climate impacts to mountain environments and to develop tangible actions for the outdoor industry to reduce their impacts. They publish guidelines helping different entities accomplish their climate goals, and they post regular educational videos and host livestreams to help people understand what climate change is doing to mountain environments and how we can all be part of the solution. At Footprints, we have the opportunity to work with the KJF to use their educational programs for our camps, and we provide many educational resources in return.
