Felipe Collazo

Felipe is an ecologist, educator, and trail runner from Argentina who helps manage El Portrero, the largest protected area in the Argentinian province of Entre Ríos.

I was always moved by social injustice and environmental issues. The main milestones of my personal/professional life (which are increasingly connected) helped me to integrate these different aspects in what I understand today as my spirituality. I'm passionate about thinking and creating a better way of living in this planet, and I believe we can do it. I had and continue to have the privilege of working to make this cultural shift to happen. While I run in nature, I connect fully with myself, with others, with the community of life, experiencing how these boundaries blur, feeling interconnected.

After getting my degree in Business (which I honestly didn't enjoy), I studied Counselling, as I continued to work as a teacher and facilitator. I have an MA in Education specializing in Re-generative Education (UdeSA, Buenos Aires). A couple of years ago (2020/2021), I did an MA in Schumacher College (Devon, UK) and my dissertation was an in-place report of how a better holistic understanding of "El Potrero", a nature reserve en Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, Argentina, could promote better and greater social and environmental impact. I love working with projects that have a purpose, and I really enjoy being part of design and practice processes.
