Hillary Gerardi

Hillary is a professional trail runner with tons of experience managing environmental non-profits. She works as the Director of Social and Environmental Responsibility at Run the Alps, connecting people with exceptional guided and self-guided trail running experiences in the Alps.

Hillary originally hails from Vermont, USA, but has been living in the French Alps for 13 years. After a Master’s in International Cooperation and Multilingual Communication, she worked for 5 years at a non-profit research center that focuses on understanding the impacts of climate change on mountain biodiversity. Today she spends her time trying to combine her passion for trail running and environmental issues as a professional athlete, the Director of Social and Environmental Responsibility at Run the Alps, and with the nonprofits Professional Trail Runners Association, En Passant Par la Montagne and Une Bouteille à la Mer.  

Hillary has played a crucial role in mobilizing suppoert and organizing our upcoming European camps beginning in 2023.
